A Spot at Kuta Beach

Kuta Beach still have some quite spot. The place took at in front of second Circle K Store on Kuta main road.

Jemeluk Bay

Jemeluk is precisely situated at Purwakerti village, Abang ditrict. It is about 100 km from Denpasar and 21 km from Amlapura. Around the area, we will be able to find small restaurants, hotels, and food stalls. For visitors who wish to closely enjoy the sea panorama, a stopover is available.
Jemeluk becomes interesting to visit for its amazing luxurious underwater scenery. Its shallow save and clear water give comfort for visitors who loves diving activity very much, to see tropical fish and other marine lives exist here. The coral reeves found in this area becomes another attraction of Jemeluk that draws visitors from all over the world.

Besides the underwater panorama, we can also enjoy beautiful view of the surrounding area, which shows the fascinating scenery of hilly land with its steep valleys that combined with the vast sea. Yeh Sanih Bali Natural Water

Yeh Sanih is about 17 kilometers from Singaraja. Yeh Sanih is a place with natural water source which is right on the edge of the beach. But the water in this place does not taste salty because it water source comes from Lake Batur. Water from these sources are often used in Hindu religious ceremonies. In this place there is also a temple that dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. The name of Yeh Sanih is derived from YEH SANIA that means South East. Because the potency of the tourism, the Local Government of Bali decided that Yeh Sanih is one of the 21 tourist areas in Bali. Cool sea breezes, tall trees, and the nice panorama over the Bali Strait make for a serene setting.

Visit the 'pura' on the hill, Pura Taman Manik Mas. In the mornings take a swim in the ocean-more like a lake than a sea. Not a soul on the beach to bother you. Quite passable snorkeling 500 meters out, another good snorkeling spot one km away.

Seven km east of Yeh Sanih is the ancient temple Pura Pondok Batu ('Pile of Stones') perched on a small rock face and surrounded by hills, valleys, and twisted frangipani trees. It's said the wandering Javanese priest Nirartha sat on one of the temple's stones and composed poetry.

Inside the temple is a well-crafted but eroded statue of Durga. Nearby on the beach at low tide is a freshwater springs frequented by locals, the water bubbling up from the sand and running into the sea.

Candidasa the view of 30th years ago of Kuta

Located on the northeastern coast of Bali, is the small village of Candidasa. A tranquil coastal area nestled between the Lombok Strait to the east and mountains to the west, Candidasa is within close proximity to many historical landmarks of Bali including Bali's mother temple, Pura Besakih, Tenganan (the aboriginal people of Bali) as well as the ferry terminal to Lombok. Some of the best diving and snorkeling areas in Bali are also within the Candidasa area. As Candidasa has become more popular with day-trippers, the demand for accommodations and eatery places has grown to wide selection that ranges from star rated properties to simple homestays. All in all, Candidasa is a great place to go for a few days of relaxation.

History Notes:
Candi Dasa is the name of a temple on the side of the road to Amlapura / Karangasem. From the ancient relics in the temple, Candi Dasa can be dated back to the 11th century, although there are no complete data on the history of the temple as such. The words "DASA" means ten. It refers to the 10 holy teachings of the TRI PITAKA, the Buddhist scripture. It is also a place to worship Shiva.
Candi Dasa is a temple of Hinduism and Buddhism in one. The fresh water pool in front of the temple which flows into the sea adds beauty to the scenery.

In recent years Candi Dasa has develoved into a popular tourist resort, yet it is unspoiled, peaceful and a pleasant retreat from the hustle and bustle of today's crowded cities.
It could be said to be a retreat to the "last paradise"...
